The following policy is how WorkforceFitness will use and manage personal information provided to or collected by our organisation. |

Workforce Fitness is committed to safeguarding all information collected from clients (corporate and individual) as we work with them and, where neccessary, evaluate the skills, knowledge and behaviours of their employees.
As the relationship develops any further corporate or personal information collected or generated is also safeguarded and protected from access by unauthorised individuals.
We will only ask for and record, corporate and personal information that will help us provide organisational, selection, development, performance and retention solutions and we will not pass on any information without the consent of the organisation or employee.
Information collected by us will not be sold, rented or licensed to anyone else. When the information is no longer of use to us, we will destroy it in a manner that protects the privacy of the organisation and individual. Likewise, you have the option of having your details deleted from Workforce Fitness's database at any time.
We strive to protect data transmitted to us over the Internet but because such transmissions cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure, we do not warrant the security of corporate and personal information transmitted in this way, but we will make every effort to make it secure on our own systems.
Personal information held by us is available for review by the individual in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Act.
Collection of Sensitive and Personal Information
We only seek information that is relevant to the professional fulfillment of our role with an organisation or individual. If such information is provided we understand you want us to use it for this purpose.
Sensitive and personal information may be collected when:
- we scope a project and in order to present a proposal
- we receive results of assessments that we might make of employees
- we receive the results of any competency or medical test
- we receive feedback on performance (whether positive or negative)
- additional information is provided
With respect to individuals, sensitive and personal information may be used in connection with:
- your actual or possible placement in a contract, casual or permanent job
- your performance appraisals
- our assessment of your ongoing performance
- any test or assessment (including medical tests and assessments) that you might be required to undergo our (or our client's) identification of your training needs
- any workplace rehabilitation
- our management of any complaint, investigation or inquiry in which you are involved
- general communication between our organisation and yourself
Your personal and sensitive information may be disclosed to :
- our clients and your potential and actual employers
- referees
- our associated companies and subsidiaries
- a professional association or registration body that has a proper interest in the disclosure of your personal and sensitive information
- our contractors and suppliers - e.g. our I.T. contractors and database designers
- any person with a lawful entitlement to obtain the information
If you do not give us the information we seek:
- we may be limited in our ability to make a valid and reliable assessment
- we may be limited in our ability to achieve our objectives
You can gain access to your information to correct it if it is wrong.
